  • The University of Reading is ranked as one of the UK’s 10 most research-intensive universities and as one of the top 200 universities in the world. Reading enjoy a world-class reputation for teaching, research and enterprise. Established as an extension college of Christ Church, Oxford in 1892, Reading received a Royal Charter in 1926, the only university to do so between the two world wars. Important achievements include being the first university to win the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement (1989) and twice receiving the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher Education (1998 and 2006).
  • Dr. Kecheng Liu, Fellow of British Computer Society, is a full professor and holds a chair of informatics at the University of Reading, UK. He is the Director of Informatics Research Centre of the University of Reading. He has published over one hundred papers in conferences and journals, such as J. of Knowledge and Data Engineering, J. of Information Systems Frontiers, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Behaviour and Information Technology, IEEE Networking, International Journal of Electronic Commerce Research.

  • The Pennsylvania State University is a state-related, land-grant, space grant public research university located in the University Park area and within State College and College Townshipin Pennsylvania, United States. The University has 24 campuses throughout the state of Pennsylvania, including a virtual World Campus, with University Park being its largest campus. Penn State University Park is ranked in the top 15 nationally for public universities and is a Public Ivy. The enrollment at the Penn State University Park campus is 43,252 with a total enrollment of over 84,000 across its 24 campuses, placing it among the ten largest public universities in the United States. Penn State offers more than 160 majors and administers a $1.6 billion endowment.。

  • The University of Miami is a private, non-sectarian university founded in 1925 in the city of Coral Gables, Florida within Miami-Dade County. Miami's Miller School of Medicine and its teaching hospital are located in the city of Miami at the Miami Civic Center and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science is on Virginia Key.As of 2009,the university currently enrolls 15,629 students in 12 separate colleges. Research is a component of each academic division, with UM attracting $326 million per year in sponsored research grants. In the 2010 issue of U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Colleges," the University of Miami was ranked in the top tier of all national universities, placing 50th.The Academic Ranking of World Universities rates UM one of the world's top 200 academic institutions In Forbes Magazine's 2009 rankings of 600 undergraduate institutions, UM ranked 479th.

  • The Vrije Universiteit is a university in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The university is located on a compact urban campus in the southern part of Amsterdam in the Buitenveldert district. Though a faith-based, private institution, the VU receives government funding on a parity basis with the public universities.The VU University Amsterdam has about 20,000 students,most of whom are full-time students. The number of faculty members and researchers is 2200 (of whom 300 are full professors). Teaching and research activities are supported by 1600 administrative, clerical, technical, and other employees. The university's annual budget is around US$500 million,about two third of which comes from the Dutch government. Tuition, research grants, and industrial contracts provide the rest.
