Aims
With the economic globalization, there have been many new phenomena, new situations and new challenges in the industries in each country. Thus there is a necessity for academics to conduct in-depth research on industrial organization, industrial structure, industrial development, industrial distribution, industrial policies as well as the theories of industrial security in globalization. International Conference on Industrial Economics System and Industrial Security Engineering (IEIS) is initiated under such backgrounds. Focusing on strategic demands of industrial economy and of industrial security in every nation, this conference is to provide a forum for scholars and practitioners in the world to discuss the problems in industrial economics and industrial security theories and practices. It aims to provide insights in solving the problems in national economy, social development and economic security.
IEIS is jointly initiated by China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University and University of California at Berkley. IEIS 2014-2015 was successfully held in Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and Beijing (China). In total, about 120 authors from 10 countries attended IEIS.The Proceedings of IEIS 2014-2015 were published by Springer-Verlag.In 2016, the IEIS have been approved by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) to be one of IEEE conference series. The conference proceeding will be included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The authors with excellent papers in the conference proceedings will be invited to publish their academic thoughts and methods in some international academic journals indexed by SSCI/SCI or EI with high priority.
