In order to strengthen academic exchanges and discussions on the latest fundamental advances in the state of the art and practice of Industrial Economics and Industrial Security, 2014 International Conference on Industrial Economics and Industrial Security (IEIS’2014) will be held on July 23-26, 2014 in University of California at Berkrlry, USA and Beijing, China.
Accepted papers, presented at the conference by one of the authors, will be published in the Proceedings of IEIS’2014. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. The proceeding will be published by Springer and sent to ISI-Knowledge for CPCI-S (former ISTP) indexing and Elsevier for EI Compendex indexing. In addition, revised and extended versions of selected high quality papers will be recommended for publishing in special issues of some international journals indexed by SCI/SSCI/EI Compendex.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Industrial economy

Industrial Security
●industrial structure security; ●Industrial organization security; ●industry distribution security; ●industry policy security; ●early warning of industrial securities; ●empirical studies; ●methodological studies
Meeting Venue
The meeting venue is arranged in Berkeley, California, USA and Beijing, China. In accordance with the convention of international conferences, at least one of authors must register and participate in the conference once a paper is accepted. Guidelines for submitting a Special Session/Workshop Proposal
Proposals for workshops/sessions should contain:
(1) Title of Workshops/Special Sessions
(2) Scope and Topics
(3) Profile of Session Organizer(s) (including his/her photo)
(4) Contact Info. (E-mail address and Phone Number)
Paper Submission and Review of Workshops/Sessions:
(1) All Special Session/Workshop papers should be submitted through the online submission system http://icir.bjtu.edu.cn/ieis2014 or http://ieor.berkeley.edu/~ieis2014.
(2) Each workshop/session can accept no less than 5 papers.
(3) If the number of submissions OR the number of accepted papers OR the number of registered participants is less than 4, the organizing committee will be free to decide whether to cancel the Special Session/Workshop or not.
Support for Workshop/Session Organizers:
(1)The organizers will be awarded a certificate for their contributions to the conference.
(2)The Organizers’ papers will be selected to be published in the SCI or EI journals with higher priority.
