1.Introduction of Maruwa Unyu Kikan Co., Ltd.

Maruwa Unyu Kikan Co., Ltd. is a company focusing on the service of the 3PL specialized in retail business, which provides nationwide one-stop services from procurement supports to home delivery, aiming at creating a logistics culture and a delivery culture.

The growth strategy of Maruwa is focusing management resources on the growth market and putting focused investments and marketing in the low-temperature food logistics business. Furthermore, Maruwa provides a differentiation strategy with efficient “Same-day delivery service”. As a growth engine for the partner firms, the support program of Maruwa is enhanced from time to time in the aspect of the growth in sales and profit, cash flow improvement, human resource development, management consulting and improvement of employees’ satisfaction. Besides, Maruwa plans to hire more than 1,200 new graduates over the next five years targeting to become the industry’s youngest company.

In summary, the Maruwa group is developing a strong logistics network and platform to deal with various issues in the industry, including labor shortage, vehicle shortage, labor cost increase, and compliance requirements, aiming to build a new business model to strengthen the logistics industry.
