• LISS'2013 International Conference was held

    • On August 20 to 23, 2013, approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education, administered by the University College, the school of information technology theory and international research centers, the "2013 International Conference on Logistics, informatics and Service Science (which is referred to LISS' 2013)" was held. Hosted by the University of Reading, UK, the conference held with China’s Industrial Safety Research Center of our school. It was held in Henley Business School of University of Reading and school of Economics and Management in our school. More than 160 scholars from 11 countries and regions attended the meeting. Conference received a total of 379 papers and 157 of them were hired at last.
      Our vice principal, one of the general chairmen of the conference, Professor Guan Zhongliang, followed by some other committee members chaired the meeting in University of Reading, UK. On the opening ceremony, Guan Zhongliang and Ginny Gibson, Dean of Henley Business School in University of Reading, UK, delivered speeches respectively. Professor Zhang Runtong, one of our general chairmen, gave a report of the conference organization. Then Professor Florin G. Filip, academy of Sciences of Romania and the Romanian Academy of Sciences, Professor Peter Race from Henley Business School of University of Reading, both gave plenary speeches as special guests. After the opening ceremony, the conference organized paper presentation and panel discussion. The group also held six Special Sessions with papers on related areas preached and communicated.
      Zhang ZhenJi, Shixian Liang, Liu Shifeng and Professor Zhang Juliang, etc., attended the conferences.
