Aims
Information and communication technologies have been providing an effective network infrastructure and development platform for logistics and service operations. To meet the needs of consumers and to promote core competences, many institutions and firms have been developing new types of services. LISS2021 is a prime international forum for both researchers and practitioners to exchange the latest fundamental advances in the state of the art and practice of logistics, informatics and service sciences. The conference theme is “AI and data driven technical and management innovation in logistics, informatics and services”. Both researchers and practitioners will discuss academic issues, seize future development opportunities, master the developing trends and exchange the latest academic thoughts.
LISS 2011-2020 were successfully held in Beijing (China), Reading (UK), Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain), Sydney (Australia), Kyoto (Japan), Toronto (Canada), Maryland (USA), Budapest (Hungary, online) by Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with University of Reading (UK),The Pennsylvania State University (USA), University of California, Berkeley(USA), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain), The University of Sydney (Australia), Kyoto University (Japan), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Maryland (USA), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary, online) respectively. In total, more than 2000 researchers from 36 countries attended the conferences. The proceedings have been or will be indexed by CPCI-S (former ISTP) and EI Compendex from 2011.
LISS2021 will be hosted by IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Logistics, Informatics and Industrial Security Systems, International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary, University of Reading, UK, Shandong University, China, and will be held during July 23-26, 2021 in Jinan, China. Due to the impact of COVID-19, LISS2021 will be held in a mixed mode of “virtual/online attendance/presentation” and traditional “face to face” (if the situation allows).

Paper Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the conference website: http://icir.bjtu.edu.cn/liss2021/. All submissions should be written in English. Papers will be peer-reviewed. Completed research papers as well as work-in-progress reports are welcome. Authors are required to certify that their papers are original and not considered for publication elsewhere. Simultaneous submissions to any other conferences, workshops or journals are not allowed. The manuscript must be submitted in IEEE format (Microsoft Word and Latex templates are available on the conference website). Publications
To be eligible for publication in the conference proceedings, an accepted full paper should be presented at the conference by one of the authors. Also, the authors with excellent papers in the conference proceedings will be invited to publish their academic thoughts and methods in some international academic journals indexed by SSCI/SCI or EI with high priority.
