LISS 2011-2017 were successfully held in Beijing (China), Reading (UK), Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain), Sydney (Australia) and Kyoto (Japan) by Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with University of Reading (UK), The Pennsylvania State University (USA), University of California, Berkeley (USA), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain), The University of Sydney (Australia) and Kyoto University (Japan) respectively. In total, about 1500 authors from 36 countries attended these conferences. The proceedings have been or will be indexed by CPCI-S (former ISTP) and EI Compendex from 2011 to 2016. In 2015, the LISS was approved by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) to be one of IEEE conference series. The conference proceedings will be included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The authors with excellent papers in the conference proceedings will be invited to publish their academic thoughts and methods in some international academic journals indexed by SSCI/SCI or EI with high priority.

      LISS2018 will be hosted by IEEE Technical Committee on Logistics Informatics and Industrial Security Systems，International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with University of Toronto, Canada, University of Reading, UK, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China，and will be held during 3-6 August, 2018 in Toronto, Canada, with satellite sessions in Beijing, China. The topics of the conference are related to service science, service innovation, service engineering, service marketing, service informatics, intelligent medicine and healthcare, artificial intelligence, big-data, learning theories and applications, cloud computing, Internet of things, information and communication technology, Internet technology and applications, E-commerce, enterprises informatics, sustainable logistics and supply chain, smart transportation and logistics, logistics operations and management, logistics and supply chain finance, city logistics, maritime logistics and container supply chain, green construction and other related areas.
