IEIS is jointly initiated by China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, The International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University and University of California at Berkley. IEIS 2014-2019 were successfully held in Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain), Sydney (Australia), Kyoto (Japan), Toronto (Canada), University of Maryland (USA) and Beijing (China). In total, about 400 authors from more than 10 countries and regions attended the conference. The proceedings have been or will be submitted to CPCI-S (former ISTP) or EI Compendex from 2015 to 2019. In 2016, IEIS was approved by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) to be one of IEEE conference series. The authors with excellent papers in the conference proceedings will be invited to publish their academic thoughts and methods in some international academic journals indexed by SSCI/SCI or EI with high priority.

      IEIS2020 will be hosted by IEEE Technical Committee on Logistics Informatics and Industrial Security Systems, National Academy of Economic Security of Beijing Jiaotong University, The International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the University of Reading, and will be held during 25-28 July, 2020 in Budapest, Hungary, with satellite sessions in Beijing, China. The conference proceeding will be included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The meeting covers a great deal of research achievements in industrial restructuring strategy, industrial organization, industrial policy, departmental economic research, industrial competitiveness, regional industrial structure, national industrial economic security theory and empirical research, and it emphasizes on combining theory with practice.
