Information and communication technologies have been providing an effective network infrastructure and development platform for logistics and service operations. To meet the needs of consumers and to promote core competences, many firms have been developing new types of services. LISS’2017 is a prime international forum for both researchers and practitioners to exchange the latest fundamental advances in the state of the art and practice of logistics, informatics and service sciences. Both researchers and practitioners will discuss academic issues, seize future development opportunities, master the developing trends and exchange the latest academic thoughts.

LISS 2011-2016 were successfully held in Beijing (China), Reading (UK), Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and Sydney (Australia) by Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with University of Reading (UK), The Pennsylvania State University (USA), University of California, Berkeley (USA), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain) and the University of Sydney(Australia), respectively.
