IEIS is jointly initiated by China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, The International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University and University of California at Berkley. IEIS2014-2021 were successfully held in Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain), Sydney (Australia), Kyoto (Japan), Toronto (Canada), Maryland (USA) and Budapest (Hungary, online) by Beijing Jiaotong University. In total, about 590 authors from more than 10 countries and regions attended the conference. The proceedings have been or will be indexed by CPCI-S (former ISTP) or EI Compendex from 2015 to 2021. In 2016, IEIS was approved by IEEE to be one of IEEE conference series.

    IEIS2022 will be hosted by IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Logistics, Informatics and Industrial Security Systems, National Academy of Economic Security of Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing Laboratory of National Economic Security Early-warning Engineering, the International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with Budapest University of Technology and Economics, the University of Reading, UK, and will be held during July, 2022, China. Due to the impact of COVID-19, IEIS2022 will be held in a mixed mode of “virtual/online attendance/presentation” and traditional “face to face” (if the situation allows).
